UN: Landmark Meeting Denounces Rights Abuses Based on Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity

I was reading human rights watch today and I came across an article that seemed to tie in with many of the presentations. The article talks about ending the human rights violations based on sexual orientation. It would be interesting to re-read the Caster Semenya issue and think about it in the context of this article.

  2. This is a pretty big step forward for the U.N and the world. And this whole time I thought the U.N. was just sitting around and talking their idealistic heads off. I am pleasantly surprised they are actually getting something accomplished.
