Israel rejects U.N. assembly vote on Gaza war

Israel on Friday rejected a U.N. General Assembly resolution urging an investigation into a report saying war crimes were committed in Gaza, and condemned the world body vote as "completely detached from realities." ( Yahoo News)

With truths about Israel that are blindly neglected to be seen, these war crimes and human rights violations are real and prolific. Due to the fact the conflict is the foundation of the Israeli society, there are only shallow attempts to rid this land of conflict. If these investigations into the Gaza war continue, the world and Israel's current supporters, will only find distaste and hostility toward Israel.

The defense Israel brings up, "we are only defending ourselves!", is a true and determined way to look at it. But non the less, human rights violations are violations no matter the circumstances. How does everyone feel about this?
